A panel with Purple Tape Pedigree label artists presented as part of New Forms Festival 2019. Moderated by John Twells, executive editor of FACT Magazine, the panel included Purple Tape Pedigree founder Val Bertelsen, photographer Richard R Ross, and musicians dreamcrusher, YATTA, Lana Del Rabies, Jeremy Toussaint-Baptiste, Dis Fig, and Via App. Their conversation focused on the role of record labels in supporting artistic communities, the precarity of artist-run spaces, the healing properties of noise, and the rituals they perform to prepare for performance. The panel concluded with a question and answer period.
