Tentacles was a concert presented as part of 88 Tuned Bongos that marked the launch of the 8th Annual Accordion Noir Festival. The evening featured the spoken-word opera Flying Machines, written and directed by Elysse Cheadle with actor Aryo Khakpour and composer Elliot Vaughan; followed by an intermission that included a street-side cabaret by Steve Normandin. Tentacles closed with a performance by headlining composer Angélica Negrón with xylosynth percussionist  Shayna Dunkleman that blended accordion, voice, and electronic soundscapes.

88 Tuned Bongos was a series that explored experimental music for piano. Presented in partnership with Coast Jazz & Blues Society, and with support from SOCAN Foundation and the Government of Canada.
