Description:

Gwek Bure-Soh presented a slowscan telephone exchange linking Paris and Vancouver. The work comprised two parts: “Jeux d’échecs,” an interactive sound/image performance transmitting a speculative chess game, and documentation of The Telematic Tea Party in Western Front’s Grand Luxe Hall, where a Vancouver afternoon tea became a late-night, tipsy Paris gathering through time difference.
