Description:

While in residence at A Space, Western Front members presented a three-night cabaret event of fashion, music, and performance in collaboration with Toronto-based artists. Nite Spots was emceed by Hank Bull and unfolded against a backdrop of Kate Craig’s Lady Brute costume collection. 

The evening featured a runway presentation introduced by Granada Venne that previewed the leopard print garments worn by actors in the Lux Radio Players’ new production Murder in the Fog

Musical performances included a vocal number by Bobbe Besold, Marien Lewis, and Deanne Taylor of The Hummer Sisters, with Kate Craig and Gretchen Haywire; a solo performance by vocalist Diane Lawrence; and a set by Dr. Brute and the Brute Saxes, including Peter Fraser, Marien Lewis, and Victor Coleman.
