The Tiptons Sax Quartet performed a concert that combined saxophones, clarinets, vocals, drums, and inventive percussion. They presented a distinctive genre-busting “world soul” sound beyond jazz and funk.Performers were Amy Denio, Brian Kent, Jessica Lurie, Elizabeth Pupo Walker, and Tobi Stone.
