As part of the Independent Choreographer Series, Jennifer Mascall performed her solo work No Picnic. The dance focuses on two suicidal characters, Brood, a South American divorcee mother whose hobby is swans; and Grime, a worried businessman working on competence skills who studies martyrs on the side. The same events happen to each character, with their approaches and reactions forming the dance.
