Those Days: A Portrait of Doris Shadbolt (2002), a twenty-seven minute film written and directed by Karen Henry, was screened. The film focused on Shadbolt’s pivotal activities as a curator at the Vancouver Art Gallery and was made up of interviews with Shadbolt and her reflections on art and the times as well as statements of people whose lives she impressed. The video attempted to capture the vitality of the era and Shadbolt’s commitment to art practice through a collage of images, activities, exhibitions, and people.
