27th Anniversary Gala and Art Auction

Description:

Western Front’s 27th Anniversary Gala and Art Auction was emceed by Hank Bull and featured a catered dinner, music and performances, and a live auction of works donated by artists.

The auction featured works by Lisa Birke, Karin Bubaš, Joane Cardinal-Schubert, Tom Dean, Tagny Duff, Betty Goodwin, Rodney Graham, Hong Hao, Arni Haraldsson, Alan Hoffman, Mary Janeway, James Lahey, Landon Mackenzie, Jason McLean, Gillian McMillan, Eric Metcalfe, Sally Michener, Michael Morris, Antoni Muntadas, Ed Pien, Rober Racine, Judy Radul, Jayce Salloum, Yoko Takashima, Todd Tedeschini, Etienne Zack, and Elizabeth Zvonar.

Music and performance artists were Paul Blaney, Joelle Cicona, Tagny Duff, Elizabeth Fischer, Velveeta Krisp, Marlene Madison, and Paul Plimley.

Proceeds from the auction supported Western Front’s year-round art and music programs. A preview of the works took place in the Grand Luxe Hall on Mar 15, 2000.
