Description:

Souvenir de la Chine is a single-channel video production by Hank Bull and Kate Craig that explores environmental acoustics and the construction of soundscapes. The work features documentation of Bull, Craig, and their collaborators in the Grand Luxe Hall experimenting with natural materials and improvised instruments to emulate sounds such as bird calls, running water, and crunching leaves, interspersed with footage of natural settings.
