Description:
In the performance Mixed Metaphors, AA Bronson acts as the spokesman for the artist group General Idea. He wears a black “censor bar” over his glasses while reading the collective’s “Glamour Manifesto” in its entirety, as published in the fall 1975 “Glamour Issue” of FILE Magazine. The manifesto includes various sections including "Glamour," "Stolen Lingo," "Object d’Art," "Gestures," "Image Lobotomy" and "Artificiality."
