Combining video, text, music, and scenography, As the World Burns by Randy Gledhill and Berenicci Hershorn explores themes of the nuclear family, gender binaries, fears of the silent majority, right-wing subliminal messaging in mass media, and violence in American culture.

The performance featured an original theme written and performed on piano by John Bentley Mays.
