While in Vancouver on the occasion of the international touring exhibition WACK! Art and the Feminist Revolution on show at the Vancouver Art Gallery (VAG), Pauline Oliveros performed two concerts as part of VAG’s special performance event series, FUSE.The performance featured Oliveros's trademark Expanded Instrument System (EIS), an experimental electronic sound-processing environment, specifically for improvising music. She was accompanied by sound artist/spoken-word performer, Ione.
The performances were also a part of Western Front’s Stand Alone concert series, curated by DB Boyko and Ben Wilson.
