Description:

Recorded at midnight on April Fools Day at PUMPS Centre for the Arts, Relican Wedding was a performance work and wedding ceremony for Gina Daniels and Gary “Middleclass” Bourgeois.

The ceremony was hosted by Hank Bull as “the Great Homunculus,” the self-proclaimed god of a fictional Vancouver-based religion, Religion Canada (hence, “Relican”). Bull describes the absurd and satirical “Relican Wedding” ritual, while the newlyweds celebrate amongst a crowd of local artists, friends, and performers.
