AA Bronson

Bio:

AA Bronson is an artist, curator, and educator based in Toronto, Canada and Berlin, Germany. Bronson is a founding member of the artists’ group General Idea, in which he produced collaborative performances, printed matter, and publications exploring queer theory, AIDS activism, consumer culture, mass media, and the art economy. His solo artwork has focused on themes of healing, trauma, ritual, and death through therapeutic bodywork practices. Bronson was the former director of  Printed Matter, Inc., and co-founder of Art Metropole, the NY Art Book Fair, and the LA Art Book Fair. He is represented by Esther Schipper, Berlin and Maureen Paley, London.
