Ardele Lister

Bio:

Ardele Lister is an artist based in New York, United States who works in time-based media. Her work is informed by questions around the role of media and globalization in identity formation. While practicing in Vancouver in the 1970s, Lister founded The Independent, a monthly publication for independent video and filmmakers, as well as Criteria, a critical review of the arts in Vancouver. She teaches media in the Visual Arts Department at Rutgers University.
