Description:

Organized by Barry Truax, the International Circuit of Electroacoustic Music (ICEM) was a network of composers who exchanged taped electronic music in the mail. 

This event featured live horns by James MacDonald with accompanying electronic works by composers who were connected through the ICEM.

Compositions included Harry Freedman, Mono (1977); James Montgomery, Plunger (1975); John Rimmer, Composition; David Keane, Hornbeam (1979); and Barry Truax, Sonic Landscape No. 1.

The program also featured the world premiere of The Blind Man (1979) by Barry Truax, with text by Norbert Ruebsaat; and Ange (1979) by Jean Piché; and the Canadian premiere of Mardom (1978) by Robin Heifetz.

The concert was later broadcast by Vancouver Co-op Radio.
