Banker’s Holiday was a film written and directed by Fielding Dawson while in residence at Western Front. Starring Bob Amussen, Banker’s Holiday depicts a bank employee taking advantage of the branch being closed on a Sunday. Breaking the fourth wall, Amussen’s monologue satirically reflects on labour, class, and alienation under capitalism.
Filmed and produced by Kate Craig, the twenty-minute video features sound by Marty Beth Knetchel and sound effects by The Vancouver Soundscape.
