Description:
This solo exhibition by Bill Napier-Hemy featured a selection of handmade string instruments. During the opening reception, Napier-Hemy performed a set with his modified instruments in the Grand Luxe Hall.
Following this premiere at Western Front, the instruments were displayed at the Surrey Art Gallery from March 22 to April 23, 1989.
