Description:
A concert with Broken Shadows as part of the Bright Moments series. For their hour-long performance, the quartet—composed of saxophonists Tim Berne and Chris Speed, bassist Reid Anderson, and drummer Dave King—paid tribute to the music of jazz saxophonist Ornette Coleman and reed players Dewey Redman and Julius Hemphill.
Presented in partnership with Coastal Jazz & Blues Society, and with support from the Government of Canada and SOCAN Foundation.
