Description:

While in residence at Western Front, Andrew James Paterson produced The Pop Tape. The three-minute video offers a lucid series of vignettes bookended by shots of a digital alarm clock: soda bubbles rise in plastic cup, a cigarette perches on the edge of a glass ashtray, an actor appears in Blackface, and an electric guitar lays on a table.
