Description:

While in residence at Western Front, Andrew James Paterson produced the single-channel video work Bathtub. The video follows Paterson as he prepares and soaks in a bath. Voiceover narration reflects on the space of the tub as a refuge from the harshness of everyday life, and the act of bathing—its slowness, softness, and aimlessness—as a process that parallels the temporality of thinking.

Video documentation is available upon request.
