Description:

Western Front presented three evenings with writer and filmmaker Chris Kraus, highlighting her novels, art criticism, and early experimental films. 

On October 29, 2012 Kraus presented her book of art criticism Where Art Belongs (2011) at Emily Carr University of Art + Design as part of the Crepescular Lecture Series.  

On November 1, 2012 in collaboration with DIM Cinema, Kraus presented A Literary Confession, a screening of her early experimental films, at The Cinematheque. 

On November 2, 2012 Kraus read from her novel Summer of Hate (2012) in the Grand Luxe Hall as part of Scrivener’s Monthly, followed by a conversation with Marina Roy.

Presented in partnership with Emily Carr University of Art + Design, DIM Cinema, and The Cinematheque.
