Description:

This double bill featured performances by two Vancouver-based ensembles. 

Bossa Noir consisted of Kevin House (songwriter and vocals), Tony Wilson (composer and guitar), Peggy Lee (cello), JP Carter (trumpet), Russel Scholberg (bass), and Skye Brooks (drums).

LaConnor consisted of François Houle (clarinet, iPod, laptop), Jesse Zubot (violin, iPod, laptop), and Jean Martin (percussion). They performed music from their debut album, combining electronica, turntables, improvisation, folk, and classical chamber music.
