Western Front hosted artists M. Simon Levin and Laurie Long for a talk as part of an external Upgrade! Vancouver program organized by Kate Armstrong.

They discussed Desalination: a space for projection, a remote sensing project that brought fresh water to an arid and hyper-salinated land. This was a site-specific piece for the International Performance Space, in Tammin, Australia. They also showed key past works that informed their collaborative exploration.
