Take Back the Sheets
Description:
Take Back the Sheets opens with a shot of an apartment building. Inside, we observe Jane Ellison taking a bird bath, sipping coffee, and smoking a cigarette, while Margaret Dragu reads erotica and kisses Ric Amis, all seemingly within the same space. The domestic activities unfold alongside still images from a dinner party with friends. Set to a jaunty soundtrack, this five-minute video explores the blurred boundaries between public and private life, as well as the overlap between hosting and inhabiting, within the domestic realm.
