Western Front launched a residency program that supported three emerging artists to develop and present a new video work. As part of this program, Shawn Chappelle explored video art as painting, taking on themes of abstraction, narrative, and poetry.
Western Front is a non-profit artist-run centre in Vancouver.
We acknowledge the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and səl̓ílwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations as traditional owners of the land upon which Western Front stands.
