Film historian and writer Thomas Waugh’s lecture Hard to Imagine: Illicit Homoerotic Photography and Film 1880–1969 explored the history of image-making in underground gay communities. Waugh’s talk was accompanied by a screening of four rare erotic films and eighty archival photographs, representing a legacy to be reclaimed.
Proceeds from the evening were donated to the Little Sisters Defense Fund.
