Exhibition

Description:

Richard Estanislao Zulueta’s solo exhibition Humane Society presented a series of performance stills featuring nude figures in public spaces. Through photo-performance, Zulueta responded to the rapid processing of information and the pervasive bombardment of media and mass communication.

The exhibition was accompanied by a catalogue essay by Lucy Lippard titled “Up From Under” (1993).
