Western Front participated in an “international fax banquet” exchange with the Time Based Bar at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, Austria—a meeting space for artists and journalists equipped with five fax machines, six video monitors, large displays, and a special telephone booth designed by artist Fritz Grosz. Participants were invited to bring in an image of their favourite food to fax from Western Front to Vienna, simulating a dinner party via fax machine.Back to:
