Description:

Hildegard Westerkamp launched her CD, Into India.

The Into India project was developed over a ten-year period when Westerkamp’s was in India. The evening featured selected works from the CD (including the world premiere of her meditative “Attending to Sacred Matters”), images from Westerkamp’s time in India, treats from Nirvana restaurant, and James Hamilton performing live sitar.

Western Front is a non-profit artist-run centre in Vancouver.

We acknowledge the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and səl̓ílwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations as traditional owners of the land upon which Western Front stands.
