Description:

Neurostalgia is a single-channel video by Susi Milne that weaves together original footage, found footage, and animation. The work revisits four recurring scenes: a woman holding a drawing of a horse, a woman dancing while superimposed onto various backgrounds, women lying on graves at a cemetery, and a nude woman running and crawling through grass. These scenes are intercut with imagery related to politics and industry.

Produced by Elizabeth Vander Zaag, the visuals are set to an original soundtrack by Michael Clark and Gary Bourgeois, with lyrics and vocals by Milne.

Video documentation is available upon request.
