Faint

Field:

Performance, Media Artwork

Location:

Grand Luxe Hall, Western Front

Description:

In Faint, Paul Wong, Kenneth Fletcher, Charles Rea, and Carol Hackett perform an exercise that leads to a temporary loss of consciousness. Each take turns hyperventilating while crouched low to the floor, before abruptly standing while holding their breath, and inevitably collapsing into the arms of a partner. The performance was produced in the Grand Luxe Hall as a single-channel video performance.

Video documentation is available upon request.
