To accompany his solo exhibition Tasting Notes, Sol Hashemi hosted a workshop for sixteen participants that involved sampling various teas made from herbs and hops. Through palette and olfactory, participants were guided through differences and similarities in taste, visualizing the flavours through drawing exercises after each tasting. Focusing on aspects such as bitterness and flavour notes, the workshop was aimed at promoting a greater appreciation for the subtleties of taste and the visual relations we make to our other senses.
