Description:
Stack of Moves was a participatory dance project organized by Jen Weih with Justine A. Chambers, presented as part of Wrong Wave: Revenge of the Puritan. Taking place in the Grand Luxe Hall, Chambers led the audience through a series of movements focused on embodiment, synchrony, exchange, and rhythm. The forty-five-minute “warm-up” ended with an exercise that paired movement to music, and led into a dance party.
Wrong Wave: Revenge of the Puritan was a festival organized by UNIT/PITT, presented in partnership with Western Front, The Cinematheque, and SFU’s Vancity Office of Community Engagement.
