The publication takes its impetus from Kits for an Encounter, an exhibition curated by Candice Hopkins and Marissa Jahn at Western Front. In Recipes for an Encounter, readers are invited to complete the works collected inside by testing out the recipes to yield infinitely varied outcomes.
