Stephanie Springgay and Jay Pahre in Conversation

To celebrate the launch of The Weather Report, Jay Pahre’s series of broadcasted writing developed while in residence, Western Front presented an online conversation with Pahre and professor Stephanie Springgay. 

Their discussion connected Springgay’s research-creation on critical queer walking methodologies with themes of The Weather Report and Pahre’s practice at large. Drawing on a shared interest in shifting queer ecologies, Springgay and Pahre embodied a meeting of atmospheres where questions of movement, weather, and affect collided.

The event was moderated by Western Front assistant curator, Kiel Torres.
