Description:

Probe is a single-channel video by Shawn Chappelle developed while in residence at Western Front. Through quick-firing clusters of hypersaturated, macro images, the work evokes the alienation of life under capitalism while critiquing the destructive, large-scale environmental impacts of extractive industries and radioactive materials. The work is paired with a soundtrack by Chappelle and Craig Easton.
