Description:

Western Front hosted two screenings of experimental 16mm and Super 8 films by twenty members of the Berlin-based artist group a.v.a. The events were presented as a special feature to a a series of screenings showcasing Canadian avant-garde/experimental cinema, curated by Maria Insell.

George Ladanyi of a.v.a. was in attendance to introduce each screening, and participated in a Q&A period following the films.
