Description:

As part of the exhibition Issues of Censorship, Western Front presented a panel discussion on censorship and its effect on the arts in partnership with The Coalition For the Right to View (CRTV) and A Space, Toronto.

The panelists included artist Stan Denniston, video artist and cultural critic Sara Diamond, and lawyer Peter Fraser. The panelists presented an overview of censorship in Canada from both practical and philosophical perspectives.

The event also featured a screening of Kim Tomczak and Lisa Steele’s video See Evil, which was also displayed as part of the exhibition.
