Description:

decentre was a series of three exhibitions and one poster project.

It examined the use of documentary and re-mediated forms as a means of disrupting and obscuring centrality. Confusing the notion of object or original, works in this series muddled objective truth, empirical knowledge, singular readings, authorship, and the authority of geographic capitals. As simulacra, documents have the ability to disseminate throughout the world, each holding and undermining the integrity of the original.
