Fits and Starts was a performance that was part of a larger project on clowning. It sought to revisit the historical role of clowns as social commentators, using traditional clowning techniques to convey contemporary ideas.
With a multimedia approach it merged live performance, video works and projection, and percussive musical accompaniment. The performers, dressed in bodysuit costumes, engaged in humorous, clown-inspired actions and scenarios over two acts, also involving the audience.
