This nation-wide event celebrated the eightieth anniversary of Marconi’s first international radio transmission.
Side-profile of three men wearing coats gathered behind a satellite dish. The man closest to the dish is blonde, holding a hand up as if to examine the tripod. The man in the center is dark-haired, with glasses and a mustache, holding a wired microphone. The third man wears a fedora and holds a bottle in one hand.
Three men wearing coats gather behind a satellite dish, seemingly inspecting its mechanisms. The man in the center holds a wired microphone in his hand.
A light-haired man wearing a gray blazer, a dark shirt, and black trousers squats down, one hand holding a wired microphone and another touching the ground. He appears to be examining something on the floor. Behind him stands a large satellite dish.
A light-haired man wearing a gray blazer squats down, one hand holding a wired microphone and another touching the ground, seemingly examining the floor. Another man wearing a dark coat and a fedora stands bent-over, also peering curiously at the ground. Behind them stands a large satellite dish.
Three men in blazers gather around a satellite radio transmitter. A man in a fedora squats down to the right of the transmitter, facing a light-haired man reaching downwards. A dark-haired man wearing a plaid tie stands behind them, looking down at the transmitter as he points up at the edge of a satellite dish.
Three men in blazers stand beneath a dark sky lit up by lens-flare stars. To the left, a light haired man gestures with his hand as he speaks, his face partially obstructed by a translucent satellite dish. A dark-haired man in a plaid tie stands to his left, listening attentively with a microphone in his hand. To the right, a man wearing a fedora smiles widely at the camera as he squats by a radio transmitter with a huge antenna.
A translucent satellite dish vaguely obscures the side profile of a light-haired man wearing a blazer. To his left, a dark-haired man wearing a plaid tie holds a microphone aimed at a satellite transmitter with a huge antenna. In front of the transmitter sits a person wearing a fedora, their back facing the camera.
A dark-haired man poses with his hands in his pockets next to a large satellite dish, presumably on a rooftop. He wears a dark dress shirt tucked into white trousers, a light-colored blazer and a plaid tie.
Two men pose beside a rooftop satellite dish, shaking hands and smiling at the camera. The man on the left is dark-haired, shorter, and wearing a light-colored blazer. The man on the right is taller, wearing a dark three-piece suit and a fedora. The sky is dark behind them.
A man in a dark suit and a fedora stands beside a rooftop satellite dish, illuminated by a bright camera flash. His right hand is positioned on the dish while the left reaches out towards the camera, his expression somewhere between cheeky and scandalized.
A dark-haired man wearing a blazer, dress shirt, and plaid tie stands with both hands on his hips, speaking into a microphone in the Grand Luxe Hall. To his left is an 80s-era TV displaying what looks like a horizon. We can see the back of one audience member’s light-haired head.
