Description:

Stellar Sax Quarter performed a concert inspired by rock, chant, various jazz idioms, rhythmic and structured improvisation, and a general inquiry into the transcendent and transformative aspect of what music can be. The concert featured compositions by members of the ensemble: Nikita Carter (tenor/baritone sax), François Houle (soprano sax), Daniel Kane (baritone sax), and Bob Walker (alto sax).
