Western Front invited artists to perform as part of Under Exposure, a presentation of new music at the Vancouver Art Gallery as part of their performance event series, FUSE.Ion Zoo performed a concert of noise, opera, blues, and Weimar cabaret. It was an aural feast of haunting melodies, strange atmospheric textures, and spontaneous arias.
The ensemble performers were Steve Bagnell (reeds and percussion), Paul Rucker (cello and bass), Clyde Reed (bass), and Carol Sawyer (voice).
