Description:
While in residence at Western Front, Zainub Verjee developed Through the Sole of My Mothers Feet, a four-channel video installation for eight monitors. The work maps the migration trajectory of Verjee's family across Gujarat, India, East Africa, the United Kingdom, and Canada to explore notions of nomadic architecture and intergenerational knowledge.
