Up Front was a selection of photographic portraits and still lifes produced between 1989 and 1993 for FRONT magazine, by artist Chick Rice. Through careful attention to lighting, the photographs ranged from darkly humorous to glamorous society portraits, revealing qualities in each subject that reflected Rice’s own perception of image and identity.Back to:
