Description:

Zainub Verjee’s single-channel video Ecoute s’il pleut explores time, space, and silence through a series of poetic scenes. Lush foliage, a serene public park, and falling rain are captured through blurred camera techniques, creating a liminal sense of pacing. The video is set to a piano score by Rober Racine, ends with rolling text that reads "Ce sont les silences entre les mots qui donnent vie au langage” (The silent space between words breathes life into language).

Video documentation is available upon request.
