As part of the New Music Across America Festival, Western Front presented a concert by Pauline Oliveros (accordian/voice), Stuart Dempster (trombone), Randy Raine Reusch (sho, khaen, dan bau), and Ione (bells).
The pieces were performed continually and simultaneously. The program included: “Zero∞ for John Cage,” by Raine Reusch; “Just a Thought,” by Dempster; and “The Earthworm Also Sings,” a text by Oliveros.
