Description:

Dreamsound was a concert by R.I.P. Hayman that invited audience members to a sleepover in the Grand Luxe Hall. The subliminal music event featured popular songs with sleep and dream imagery, Bach’s Goldberg Variations (1741) played at half-speed, Malaysian Temier dreamchants, beating sine tones, recorded conversations about ghosts played with visual effects, and field recordings of crickets, ocean waves, and other relaxing sounds. Audience members were provided with sleep gear and invited to attend a breakfast the following morning where they could discuss their dream experiences.

Curated by Martin Bartlett.
