Lisa Ullén in Residence

Description:

Western Front hosted pianist and composer Lisa Ullén for a residency in which she developed, recorded, and performed a new solo prepared piano composition in collaboration with local musicians. With visual artist Kathleen Taylor, Ullén also participated in Scoring Sound—a graphic score workshop in the Grand Luxe Hall presented as part of Vancouver Draw Down Festival.
